The USS Portsmouth CL-102 Association is celebrating its 17th Annual Reunion at Crowne Plaza Dulles Hotel in Virginia on April 29th thru May 2nd 2011.  For years, Signature Pins has had the pleasure of creating custom lapel pins for members of this group. Patricia Hohner, Reunion Chairperson, contacted us with the following testimonial:

The Portsmouth Association has been using Signature Pins for three consecutive years to make lapel (hat) pins for our members.  The pins are of great quality and appreciated by our crew.”

We figured we could return the favor by promoting the Association’s upcoming event and give you, our reader, more information about the naval ship and its history.

The USS Portsmouth CL-102 was a naval fighting ship and the third to carry its name.  It was launched September 20th, 1944 and decommissioned on June 15, 1949.  Although the ship was scrapped in 1974, two of its main engines remain in service today.

Crew members can revisit old friends and reminisce on the times spent together at the Association’s yearly reunion.  Custom lapel pins featuring their personal design are created for this purpose and given to attendees to wear on their hats.

Signature Pins knows what a difference a quality lapel pin can make.  That is why we work hard to give our customers the type of service that they expect and deserve. We regularly receive testimonials from pleased customers like Patricia.  The USS Portsmouth CL-102 Association received complimentary design services, a full color digital proof, up to 7 colors at no cost, and fast and free shipping with their order.  Find out more about what we can do for you and your group by visiting Signature Pins today.
