Have you ever wondered how your design will look once it is manufactured? How we know what colors to add to it? Or if you will be able to verify the colors selected for your design from the digital proof we send you for review?

These are all valid and important questions individuals should ask regarding their custom products creation. Gladly, we can offer some helpful hints to make the process easier.

Here are our suggestions:

1.   If you send vector artwork, we will “tag”, or sample, the colors that you list in your design and will recreate the design with your selected colors.

2.   If you send non vector artwork or just a logo, thought or idea, we will use our design skills and suggest colors for you to review. If you approve the colors, or tell us specifically which colors to use, we will create your custom product with those colors.

3.   We work from the PMS color system so all colors listed on the proof will be from this chart. If you are not familiar with these colors, you can go to your local art supply store, paint store or library and do some research on the charts and possible colors.

4.   Most importantly, please remember that you are viewing your emailed digital proof on a non-calibrated monitor. The colors that you are viewing may not be an exact match because all monitors display color differently. To be absolutely sure of the accuracy of your pin’s colors, the best idea is always to consult a physical PMS color chart.

Using the suggestions above, combined with understanding the details of your digital proof, are a tremendous help during the approval process.  Knowing what to expect as well as the standard practices used in creating the design are the keys to arriving at the perfect custom products
