National Book Month is in October, Use Lapel Pins to Reward Your Students

Reading is a very important skill for people both young and old to possess.  Not only does it provide you with the information that you need to go about your daily routine, it also offers an enjoyable pastime that allows you to escape into other worlds.  Children in particular need encouragement where reading is concerned because there are far too many things to distract them.  In a world full of video games, smartphones, and electronic gadgets of all sizes and shapes, a book may seem old-fashioned but it is familiar.  Books have been written and read for centuries.
