Mexican Independence Day took place yesterday.   This historic day marks Mexico’s independence from Spain.  History has it, that on September 15, 1810 at 11 pm, Father Hildalgo rang his church bell to call his parishioners to fight against Spain. Even today Mexico repeats this tradition and rings a bell at 11 pm on September 15th.  And, on the 16th of September, Mexico celebrates with parades and fireworks.
