As a leading lapel pin manufacturer, we have had the distinct honor of working with some incredible customers.  One of which, we have decided to feature in today’s blog.  The Ringling Museum of the American Circus, located in Sarasota, FL, is home to fascinating circus artifacts including many of the original performers’ wardrobes from as far back as 1948.

Sarasota was the Winter Quarters of the Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus in 1927.  Many of the performers moved to the area during that time so it was only fitting that the museum be founded there.  The Circus Museum includes a collection of performing props, equipment, and carved parade wagons as well as the newly restored Wisconsin, a railroad car in which John and Mable Ringling traveled in.

Posters, newspaper clippings, and films tell the story of the circus as well as the founders’ lives.  The Archives in the museum are a wealth of history with handbills, art prints, business records, and photos filling the 12,000 square foot second floor.  If you’re looking for a fun, family experience that your children can learn from, you’ll love visiting Sarasota and The Ringling Museum of the American Circus.

Custom lapel pins make great souvenirs.  If you visit a museum like Ringling, you’ll want to bring something home with you that commemorates your trip.  Pins are an excellent option because they come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors which makes it a fun experience for everyone in your family to select a pin of their liking.
